Casa Jaime

This place is ideal for gays inside a closet: few lights inside, nobody can see you and you can only see the one who is sitting in front of you in the table (and thus sharing the dinner). This is why it is popular in the gay audience. But the food is very bad. I requested a toasted sandwhich with goat cheese and the vegetables and it was old and tasted bad. It is not a clean restaurant (avoid the toilets!). The owner opened a new restaurant called ‘Xino Mandarino’ which is a ‘copy and paste’ of Casa Jaime: obscure and with old meals. To sum up, try to find another restaurant.

You cannot read the menu inside the restaurant. I have to use the light of my iphone. I requested an ‘escalibada’ which consist of goat cheese and vegetables. The vegetables were old and super coocked to disimulare. The taste of them were awful. You have better restaurant nearby.

I love seafood. I stopped in here because this site listed this restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive. I ordered the gambas and arroz de mariscos. The flavors were so out of this world I sat there at a table on the sidewalk with tears beginning to stream down my face. Highly recommended!

Ate there several times during my visit. Welcoming staff and food always good. Very good choice.
