Dallas Pride 2026 marks over 40 years of celebrating LGBTQ+ life in Dallas, with a major new chapter unfolding on June 6, 2026. For the first time, the celebration moves to the heart of Downtown Dallas, transforming multiple parks into a city-wide Pride experience. This year introduces a bold new format and a headline moment: Dallas Pride’s first-ever sunset parade.
Festival of Rainbows Across Downtown
The 2026 “Festival of Rainbows” spreads across four parks in Downtown Dallas, all opening from 11:00 AM. Each location hosts its own programme, creating a multi-zone Pride experience across the city centre.
Main Street Festival – Main Street Garden Park
The main hub of the festival, featuring a large stage with live performers, DJs, and drag shows throughout the day. Expect a strong mix of vendors, food stalls, and major brand activations, all set along the Main Street parade route.
Community Festival – Pacific Plaza
A more grassroots-focused space bringing together local organisations, non-profits, and community groups. There’s a dedicated stage with live entertainment and karaoke, alongside artisan vendors, food trucks, and interactive activities.
Teen Pride & Family Pride Zone – Harwood Park
A dedicated space for younger attendees and families, with youth-focused programming, live performances, and interactive exhibits. Expect games, play areas, educational experiences, and a more relaxed, family-friendly setup.
Parade Festival & VIP Experience – Pegasus Plaza
Located directly on the parade route, this park serves as a prime gathering point ahead of the evening parade. It includes vendors, food options, and designated VIP viewing areas with bleachers and announcer access.
Dallas Pride Sunset Parade
In a historic first, the Dallas Pride Parade takes place at sunset on June 6 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, marching down Main Street through Downtown Dallas. This free-to-attend event transforms the traditional parade into a nighttime spectacle, featuring more than 120 entries including illuminated floats, marching groups, bands, and performers. As daylight fades, the parade lights up the city, creating one of the most visually striking Pride moments in Texas.
