Cluj Pride 2026: dates, parade, history

Taking place from June 15 to 21, 2026, Cluj Pride returns to Romania's second city for a week of events dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community and its allies, culminating in the Cluj Pride March on Saturday, June 21, in Unirii Square.

This year's event carries particular weight. In Romania, same-sex couples and families remain legally unrecognised, and the march is as much an act of advocacy as it is a celebration, calling for equality, legal protection and respect for LGBTQ+ families whose lives the state continues to overlook.

Organised by the Pride Association, the full programme of events will be announced on their official channels ahead of the week.
